Update: The Joseph Beuys Prize for Research will not be awarded in 2025. It will be announced again in 2027.
Since 2011, the Museum Schloss Moyland Foundation, together with the Friends of the Museum Schloss Moyland e. V. and Volksbank Kleverland eG, has been awarding the Joseph Beuys Prize for Research.
The interdisciplinary Joseph Beuys Prize is aimed at graduates of universities, colleges or academies with their bachelor's, master's, diploma or doctoral theses in all disciplines on aspects and influence of Joseph Beuys. Academic essays, exhibition or art mediation projects based on and incorporating their own research findings can also be submitted. These should demonstrably contain new findings about Beuys, for example his environment, his ideals or his influence.
