On Long Thursday, every 3rd Thursday of the month, the castle becomes a stage for music, art and dialogue between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Each Thursday has its own individual programme and is dedicated to art: music, artist talks, guided tours, readings, performances and much more. Visitors have the opportunity to visit the current exhibitions, take part in the evening programme and enjoy the special flair in the evening hours. How about a climb up the North Tower with a view over the Lower Rhine? At the Bar Mezzogiorno (installation by Florian Hüttner and Daniel Maier-Reimer in the Tower Cabinet), acquaintances, friends and colleagues can get together over a free drink in a relaxed atmosphere and ring in the end of the working day.

Admission to Long Thursday is free.
