This research-based exhibition brings the contemporary performative artistic practice of Italian-Dutch artist Daniele Formica (born 1996, Perugia) into dialogue with the historical position of the internationally successful German artist Joseph Beuys (born 1921, Krefeld, died 1986, Düsseldorf), who died in 1986.

Formica has developed new site-specific works for the exhibition, including text-based pieces, a video performance, a large-format ready-made, and a performance installation that directly references Beuys’s action Sibirische Symphonie (1963).

The public tour invites visitors to experience this exciting dialogue between past and present and to learn about the new works in the context of their creative process.

Cost: €4 per person, concessions €3, museum kids €2.50, plus museum admission
