Public Guided Tours
Our public guided tours last 60 minutes and offer detailed information on the current exhibitions, the castle and park, the herb garden, and the hydrangeas. The fee for participation in the regular public guided tours is € 3 per person, plus museum or park admission.

Castle and Park: History Under the Open Sky
The tour of the extensive gardens is dedicated to the castle´s 700-year history and the development of the castle garden to its present state.
Guided Tours of the Current Special ExhibitionsThis guided tour provides insight into the themes of the current special exhibitions featuring art from the 19th to the 21st century.
Herb Garden
In this guided tour, you will learn interesting facts about the herb garden and the more than 350 indigenous and foreign plant species gathered here.
Hydrangeas
The hydrangea collection in the Moyland castle park comprises more than 2,500 plants of over 530 historical and current varieties. During the tour, you will learn – in addition to historical aspects – interesting facts about the use, tending, fertilisation, and colouring of these special plants.
Additional Public Guided Tours
Further public guided tours on special themes such as the trees in the castle park, torch-lit tours in the evening for families, and interactive Beuys tours take place regularly. As part of the programmes accompanying our exhibitions, we also offer, among other things, public curator tours, tours with artists, and behind-the-scenes tours.
